Proud Mummy Alert!

This evening was Zack’s first parents evening.

My parents watched the boys (who were in bed) while I went to it.

I got a lift there and back from my dad – the weather here today? HORRIBLE. Very wet and very windy. Thank god for my personal taxi service (love you Dad!).

Zack doesn’t tend to do much artwork. In fact the painting table is the last place he want’s to go. He LOVES going into the playground outside which the kids are allowed to do so long as it’s not too cold or raining. He’s a very outdoorsy type. I could have told her that!

His teacher said that he’s “an extremely clever little boy” who understands everything thrown at him and is very well behaved! YAY Zack!

I wonder if I could get him to continue being very well behaved at home, but I guess he needs to let off steam somewhere – he is only 4 after all.

This morning Max and I were playing with a toy phone. It has a few buttons that you press and it says different things, one of them being a button with a picture of a doctor on it which says “doctor”. he copied it… ish… “docdoc”. I’m so chuffed, he’s starting to pick up on what we want him to do! YAY Max!

In other news, their dad is coming over on saturday so I’m getting a free day! Going to spend it going into Perth and watching New Moon. YAY me!
