No sleep makes mummy a cranky bitch.

by Marylin on May 13, 2009

Dear Max,

I love you, really… I do! However if you continue waking anytime between 8pm-midnight and then staying WIDE! AWAKE! for two to three hours at a time, waking your older brother in the process, I am NOT going to like you very much! I don’t really CARE that you want out of your cot to play, I don’t care how cute the lil noises are that you make, or that you try to ‘trick’ me into coming in by throwing everything out of your damn cot – YOU ARE NOT GETTING OUT YOU SHOULD BE SLEEPING FFS!

Love,

A very tired Mummy who wrote this at twentyeight minutes past midnight to the tuneful sound of your constant-whinging, who now has a crying Zack in her bed trying to sleep cause YOU woke him up.

P.S. GO TO SLEEP ALREADY!!!

Amy used to do that. Lucky she was my first.

Many many nights I was awake with her for 2-3 hours at a time. Nightmare. I know exactly how you feel.

It’s horrible isn’t it? I hope that Isaac doesn’t do the same for you later on! xx

God, poor you. The girl used to do it too but as Veronica says, she was my first so at least she didn’t wake anyone else up to make it worse.

Think I’m gonna have to seperate them into their own rooms again, it’s the only solution I can think of. Ok so I won’t get to sleep, but at least Zack won’t be woken and have to be taken care of.

Sometimes they’re hard to like, even when we love ‘em! I hope you can squeeze in a nap or two!

Lol unfortunately naps are unlikely. At least the hubby will be home this weekend so I can hopefully get a bit of a break.
