The past few weeks have been a bit of a blur. I’ve not really been doing much, I feel lethargic and apathetic to such a degree that I just don’t want to have to get out of bed in the morning. I feel so tired right now. Not physically so much, but just tired with everything.

I’m tired of feeling useless. Like everything would probably operate fine around here without me.

I’m tired of the place being a mess because I just can’t bring myself to face the piles of laundry that need done. Or the dishwasher that needs emptied. Not to mention the boxes that are still not sorted through since we moved in, oh… almost two years ago?

I’m tired of being the size I am, of feeling huge and embarassed. Of seeing those looks from people if I dare be seen eating in public - god forbid at Burger King no less. What sort of mother must I be to allow my children to eat such food? It’s all in the parenting you know.

I’m tired of just wishing the day away so I can go back to bed, of just not knowing what to do with myself, or the boys, to pass the time.

I just want a break. I don’t particularly deserve one. I don’t really need one either. I’m just being selfish and wanting some time in my house without everyone else here, without having that guilt of “I should be doing the <insert household chore here>”.

It’s only 12.41pm and I’m tired and want to go back to bed so I can just pretend none of it exists.

So… I’ve been slacking with my photography. HA! “Photography”… sure, that’s what I’ll call it for now anyway!

So… as any of you who are regulars here (by the way did I mention how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you?) will have noticed, I’ve missed a day of posting. Two now actually… I am now officially a Blog365 Dropout, and I am feeling much more relaxed as a result.

Here are some reasons why I dropped out…

1. The creator of Blog365 dropped out. I heard this one through reading Reba’s blog. (Sorry I’ve not been commenting as much sweety!)
2. At the end of the day, it doesn’t *really* matter, it’s just a blog, just a little space for ME, no one else.
3. I don’t get paid for it, so why should I feel I MUST post every day?
4. I ran out of things to write oh… about 3 months ago?
5. Max is teething. BADLY. That means exceedingly clingy baby who screams most of the time.
6. It was starting to get to me that I wasn’t writing anything of any substance.
7. The PPD has been rearing it’s head a little more recently, something I wasn’t expecting and was unsure of how to deal with.
8. Did I mention Max is teething? Yes? Well it deserves a second mention, it is not just one, but his TWO top front teeth coming through. Ouch!
9. I don’t need to blog every single day for a year to make a point.
10. I have definitely got into the habit of posting now - I won’t lose that, just won’t do it every day.
11. Sometimes I just can’t be bothered to look at the computer at the end of the day.
12. I’m sick of writing ‘fillers’ which are no more interesting for anyone to read than they are for me to post!
13. I saw Sandy’s badges and decided I HAD to have one!

So we’re on about week 2 of the potty-training, and I decided to tried Zack last night with no nappy. He woke up around 8am in the morning - DRY AS A BONE and asking to go for a wee… I really couldn’t ask for more could I?? WOO BLOODY HOO!!! It’s damn nice not having to clean that poo-clad butt anymore, or at least not in the same way, and it’s saving us a nice lil amount every week.

My bright boy managed to put all his bright number cards in order! This went all the way out to the hallway, and once he realised they were not in numerical order he switched it all around - proud mummy moment!

So long as there’s a
foot to attack, we have a
happy, hyper cat!

No the cat wasn’t being stood on, or kicked! He goes for our feet (not the boys though, just mine and J’s) and turns into psycho cat. It is highly amusing, although slightly worrying when I leave the bedroom at night to feed Max - I never know if he’s ready and waiting to pounce!

Although really it’s his brother’s car… but so far Zack doesn’t seem to mind

• I am healthy and so are my family.
• I have two beautiful boys who love me no matter what. Lets face it - NOTHING beats the adoration in their eyes when they look at me or J, or even better… each other!
• Although both pregnancies had their fair share of (pretty big) problems, both births were (eventually!) very straightforward and I had no major problems recovering.
• I have met some great friends from blogging … !
• …and I’ve found a love of photography that I never even knew I had!
• Max has slept through for the last 2 nights! (I wonder if he’ll make it a hat trick?)
• Zack and I had lots of fun making faces at each other this evening.
• Max has started eating a little better, although it did result in a big poo earlier which he was not happy at doing(!).
• Zack has been given a nursery place! Starting on August 21st he will be going every morning from 9am-11.30am to have some fun in an awesome nursery just a 5 minute walk from our house

Ok, that’s all I can think of for now cause the lil fella woke for his milk! Nighty night everyone and thank you so much for the questions, I’ll write them up for sometime next week, and feel free to keep em coming!
