I’m guessing I won’t have been the only WP-self-hosted-bloggy person to see the ominous “A new version of Wordpress is available!” in their dashboard. Am I the only one who thinks it’s mocking them.. I mean using an exclamation mark like it’s a fun thing to do having to upgrade the whole damn thing. I! Think! NOT!

So, if the site goes down, or looks funky then you know why. I will try to fix it properly, but I think I may need to be a *little teeny weeny bit* more awake before I do that!

Phew! So this will be short and sweet… theme has been changed, so anyone who actually views this through an RSS feed click on ma link and come see what ya think!

Took a lil work, and my brain is a bit frazzled now, so nothing much to report today, other than doing this I’ve just been nursing a PMS induced migraine and feeling sorry for myself.  Although Max has been damn cute today so it’s not all bad! His first “real” tooth is coming through next to the one he was born with, I can feel the sharpness of it so not long to go till it cuts through, I hope! He’s also found his feet and keeps trying to catch them, got some great pics of that to show off on sunday!

That’s it from me, time to scrap my face off the computer and go to bed… *yawn*

I made the stupid mistake of thinking I could upgrade the new wordpress thingy by myself and completely borked it up. So I’ve had to reinstall the whole thing - pics aren’t working and I’ve generally been in tears trying to fix it over the past hour or so.

feeling kinda low now - I’ve spent so much time trying to get everything *just right* and now it’s all screwed up. I should have known better eh?

edit: yea I had to re-do all my bloody pics! and after all that I have ended up with the old version again as I just haven’t a clue how to upgrade since I used Fantistico (or whatever it’s called) to initially install WP on the host. *sigh* I’m just going to wait til version 2.4 is out in feb and then look into doing it.

hmmz… and I need to re-do my blogroll too by the looks of it…

edit:can you please let me know, if you use firefox…. can you see the correct pic now? or is it still the damn car? lol

edit #2: ah ok apparently what’s causing it is that FF tends to ’save’ parts of websites it visits often to make them faster to load. as the name of the pic hasnt changed, it’s not showing to some - if ya delete history on your internet options (just to take out the previous sites visited) then it *should* show properly.
