Well, I regularly click through from my reader to my favourite blogs to leave a comment, and that’s partly what all this is about. There are a lot of things going up in price these days thanks to inflation, and by just clicking through a few extra pages on someone’s blog, you might help them to earn the few extra pennies they need to get by, or maybe even enough to be able to treat themselves to something nice, by adding to their ad revenue, or giving a great big ego boost if they don’t run ads.
So… join the recession, instead of reading through a reader, click through, zoom around some posts you haven’t read yet – you don’t even need to leave a comment (although they ARE much appreciated!), just the extra pageviews can help.
If I’m lucky maybe you can all help me pay for my next year’s worth of hosting, cause I’m not sure where it’s gonna come from at the moment, and of course extra page views make me feel like I’m one of those popular people – awesome!

That’s my only goal with this blogging thing – (well, besides the obvious – like making friends and getting things off my chest) – is to break even on hosting & an image purchase here and there!

I don’t really think I’ll have enough from my blogher ads to pay off my hosting, but even halving it is better than nothing, right?

Yes. Some people need it a lot, I know of a few who I visit nearly everyday who appreciate it!
It makes all that effort worthwhile.

LOVE this idea. I’m seeing more and more bloggers post about it and I’m loving this idea. Especially since my reader is about to explode, and I’m afraid of it these days
