Well, I regularly click through from my reader to my favourite blogs to leave a comment, and that’s partly what all this is about. There are a lot of things going up in price these days thanks to inflation, and by just clicking through a few extra pages on someone’s blog, you might help them to earn the few extra pennies they need to get by, or maybe even enough to be able to treat themselves to something nice, by adding to their ad revenue, or giving a great big ego boost if they don’t run ads.
So… join the recession, instead of reading through a reader, click through, zoom around some posts you haven’t read yet - you don’t even need to leave a comment (although they ARE much appreciated!), just the extra pageviews can help.
If I’m lucky maybe you can all help me pay for my next year’s worth of hosting, cause I’m not sure where it’s gonna come from at the moment, and of course extra page views make me feel like I’m one of those popular people - awesome!
