If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it.)

If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
(Now that’s more like it!)

The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet.
(O.M.G.!)

A pig’s orgasm lasts 30 minutes.
(In my next life, I want to be a pig.)

A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death. (Creepy.)
(I’m still not over the pig.)

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories a hour
(Don’t try this at home,
maybe at work)

The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male’s head off.
(Honey, I’m home. What the…?!)

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It’s like a human jumping the length of a football field.

(30 minutes..lucky pig! Can you imagine?)

The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.
(What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?)

Some lions mate over 50 times a day.
(I still want to be a pig in my next life…quality over quantity)

Butterflies taste with their feet.
(Something I always wanted to know.)

The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
(Hmmmmmm……)

Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people.
(If you’re ambidextrous, do you split the difference?)

Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
(Okay, so that would be a good thing)

A cat’s urine glows under a black light.
(I wonder who was paid to figure that out?)

An ostrich’s eye is bigger than its brain.
( I know some people like that.)

Starfish have no brains
(I know some people like that too.)

Polar bears are left-handed.
(If they switch, they’ll live a lot longer)

Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.
(What about that pig??)

Now that you’ve smiled at least once, it’s your turn to spread these crazy facts and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to, maybe even a chuckle.

In other words, send it to everyone !
(and God love that pig)

Awesome. :D

We bought some cream for Max’ excema on Tuesday. I’d been looking for it for a loong while on recommendation from a few friends whose children have the same problem as Max.

I noticed Zack had become quiet. VERY quiet.

This is what I found…

The little bugger had emptied the whole bloody bottle and was wanting his bath. That’s £5 literally down the drain! Don’t you just love toddlers…? ;)

Just a couple of shots for this week!

Max had his first taste of chocolate…

… and Zack had his first ever face-painting!

Despite the look in the picture, he loved being his favourite superhero for the day. Me? Not so much when he kept transferring the red paint to my top/arms/jeans/bedclothes. Well, at least he had fun, right? :)

If you like these (and even if you didn’t), you should go check out this week’s Weekly Winners over at Lotus’s crib.

I just couldn’t help myself - had to show off my beautiful little boy. I can hardly believe he’ll be one in 2 months… where has the time gone??

He’s started saying Dada now, well… ish.

Still not quite crawling - why bother when your big bro will pass you everything? Although I can see he’s getting closer to doing it, he only needs to figure out how to stay up on his knees instead of pushing himself back, then he’s halfway there, right?

I’m pretty sure he’s getting frustrated by the fact he’s not that mobile yet - that frustration comes out as a Very Noisy Baby who screams, shrieks and shouts constantly. No wonder I look forward to 7pm so much - I swear my nerves are shot by the end of the day!

On top of this, Zack is being your typical 3 year old and pushing every boundary possible. I have to keep reminding myself to keep calm and not shout.

So, I seem to have two difficult children at the moment, not to mention J being at home too! *sigh*

At least there’s always something to do… right?

Sorry about that! I’ve been busy with Zack, trying to get on top of the housework etc, and dealing with a few problems caused by this.

We’re still around, still ok.

Zack’s not starting nursery yet as we have had to pull him from the one he was going to go into because of some trouble with another kid’s family who already goes there (see above link). So, we’re waiting for a no-show in the other nursery now to hopefully get him in there in a few weeks. Bloody dramas… would love to do without them!

He has had his hair cut though…

What do ya think?
