A Little Space for Me

My not-so-little boy is 33 months old today, or to put it another way - it’s only 3 months until his 3rd birthday. So here’s a TT dedicated to my lil dude

• You’re so cute when you sleep, always have been, always will be… although I can’t take pics of you now like I could back then.

• You always know how to cheer me up when I’m in a huff/upset/angry. Just the right words like “We’re best friends aren’t we!” which is one of his favourites these days, coupled with giving me cuddles - can it get any better?!

• You’re just a determined little soul, you’d rather “Do it myself!” than with any help. Yes mum, I know he gets it from me!

• If you ever see someone and they don’t smile at you you’ll make it your mission to make them! Waving, showing them Mario or Yoshi, telling them what you’ve done today (even when they don’t understand it!), smiling some more, hiding your face in your hands and shouting ‘BOO!’. You just love seeing people happy!

• You adore your grandparents. Whenever I tell you they’re coming to visit you’ll start your vigil by the window, watching for Grandpa’s car, shouting and squealing with excitement that they’re here once they finally pull up!

• You are so smart!! Some of the things you come out with just amaze your dad and me!!

• You’re a lil gamer dude already and I love it, the way you’ll shout “Nintendooo woohooo!” as soon as you see the logo anywhere.

• Those eyes…

• You’re amazed by anything and everything new to you - no matter how big or small.

• You LOVE to dance… you’ve got such good rhythm too! I love watching you shaking your cute lil butt in time to the songs I’ve got on!

• The bond you have with your little brother already… I love to watch you trying to get Max to laugh - cute is an understatement!

• Most of all I love the way you still need your mummy if you get sad or hurt. Even though you’re growing up so fast I hope you’ll always know you can count on me the way you do now.

There are soooo many other things I could have added in here but thirteen’s the limit, maybe I’ll do a Part 2 next week
