Oops! I did it again! A couple of weeks ago I went on the search for a page-per-day diary and I couldn’t resist picking up a notebook at the same time. I know I know… I’m obsessed with stationery, remember?

I’ve been carrying it around with me since I got it, insisting that I would use it for blog ideas etc when they came to me and I was unable to get to the computer, you know… like being out in the big wide world? Cause everyone knows that’s when inspiration would strike!

Well, Mr Sod decided that after midnight on a Sunday was the ideal time for me to decide that I absolutely could not sleep until I had christened the pages of my new notebook with drivel for a blog post. This blog post actually.

<Hears Zack crying in bed… he lost his dummy, where were we?>

So, my bits and pieces…

This week will be a tight one for us as I have a couple of bills to pay BEFORE payday… a week to empty our cupboards I think… that will be fun! The joys of being a responsible adult huh?

I signed up for Fussy’s Blissfully Domestic Ning group in the hopes that it will further kick my butt off the sofa and away from the PC to actually DO something about the state of our house and my sanity. I wonder how long it will last?

Speaking of domesticity, I’ve now completed week one of FLYLady’s beginner BabySteps. My sink is still shiny, the laundry is actually… UNDER CONTROL… and the bathroom got cleaned. Sheesh!

Damn my handwriting had become absolutely awful - it’s just as well I got my new notebook to write in to try to get it more polished huh?

Oh yes, a biggy this week… I’m hoping to try to wean Max off his night feed this week. After his sleep through last week on J’s birthday he’s only been waking once at night and has really only been playing with his milk until he falls asleep, so I’m thinking it’s more likely to be the habit of wanting milk to go to sleep rather than him actually NEEDING it. If that is the case I’d rather deal with it sooner than later - especially since J is off over the next week too!

<Note to self: Remember to buy nappy-sacks from Tesco’s!!>

So, where was I? Ah yes, more random pieces of this and that…

A bloggy friend of mine said to me yesterday “If you don’t write it down, it didn’t happen” and he’s so right! There are so many things I think about doing or writing about, but by the time I can collect my thoughts in the evening they’ve usually disappeared. So hopefully by keeping my new notebook handy I will be more able to record my daily thoughts to put on here… obviously that’s the whole reason I bought it in the first place ;)

I’m going to try dealing with comments differently now.  I don’t always have the time to reply to each individual comment with an email at the moment but I will try to visit your blog, I promise! Just a heads up in case anyone has been wondering why I’ve not been sending out emails over the weekend.

Hmm, it’s past 1am now… I really should go to bed right? *sighs* I miss lie ins and being able to be a night owl!
